When the game starts, you control a character that has been stranded on an island. You must find a way to survive and escape the island. Unfortunatly, you are hungry, and so are the other animals on the island. You need to gather the resources you need to advance and build a boat to sail away!
Move your player with the WASD keys or the Arrow keys. Pressing the left-shift key will cause you to run. The mouse right button will rotate the camera around the player. The scroll-wheel can zoom in and out.
Most of the objects in the game can be gathered by clicking on them with the mouse left-button. You must be nearby the object that you are trying to gather or you will see the "Too Far" message. When you gather a resource, you will see the count in the upper left of the screen. Rope comes from the bright little bush.
Animals such as crabs, boar, and sharks are protective of thier territory. They also provide a good meal! You can attack the animals by clicking on them. When an animal takes damage you will see its health displayed above it. If you run from an animal it will stop chasing you when you are far enough. You can use weapons to fight more effectively.
At the bottom of the screen are 10 buttons that allow you to craft various items. When the button is green then you have the right resources to craft that item. If you want to see what resources you need you can click the button to see the required items displayed as a message. When placing an item you can move it around and turn your character to rotate the object. Left-click to finalize the placement.
Your health will decrease if you are attacked, bleeding, starving, or cold. When you are bleeding or too cold you will see an icon at the bottom-right of your screen. Bleeding can be stopped with a bandage, but will also stop on its own. During the night the tempature will drop, so hopefully you have made a shelter to sleep in. Coconuts can be found in palm trees and will restore some of your health and hunger. You can sleep in a shelter to pass through the night.
You will need to keep fed in order to stay healthy. Coconuts can hold you over until you make a campfire and gather some meat. In order to use a campfire just stand next to it and click it.
If the game freezes after you press play, your computer might be having a difficult time trying to render the scene. If this happens, select the "Low Graphics" option at the loading menu. If you have any other issues, you can contact the developer at: jacobtc23@gmail.com
